COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE MEMBER (Requirement: Membership Dues/Agency Employee or Retiree)

As a Communication Committee Member for HECFAA, you will focus on crafting and disseminating compelling messages to promote our organization and its initiatives. Your role includes managing social media platforms, creating engaging content, and overseeing communication strategies to enhance our outreach. Proficiency in social media management is essential, and skills in audio-visual production and video editing are highly desirable. Strong communication, creativity, and organizational skills are key to effectively representing HECFAA and engaging with our audience.

EVENTS COMMITTEE MEMBER (Requirement: Membership Dues/Agency Employee or Retiree oe Associate Members)

As an Event Committee Member for HECFAA, you will be essential in planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events that support our mission. Your role involves collaborating with team members to develop event concepts, manage logistics, coordinate with vendors, and ensure a seamless execution of events such as fundraisers, networking mixers, and educational seminars. You'll work closely with volunteers and stakeholders to ensure events run smoothly and meet their objectives, while also contributing to promotional efforts to maximize attendance and engagement. Ideal candidates should possess strong organizational and communication skills, a knack for problem-solving, and a passion for creating successful and impactful events.

STUDENT OUTREACH COMMITTEE MEMBER (Requirement: Membership Dues/Agency Employee or Retiree or Associates Members)

As a Student Outreach Committee Member for HECFAA, you'll play a pivotal role in promoting diplomacy careers to college students. Your responsibilities include engaging with students through presentations and workshops, organizing career-focused events, and developing resources to highlight opportunities in diplomacy. You'll work closely with educational institutions to facilitate student participation and provide support and guidance to those interested in this field. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, a passion for diplomacy, and experience in outreach or event planning. This position offers a unique opportunity to inspire and inform students while contributing to their career development in diplomacy.

POST REPRESENTATIVE (Requirement: Full Dues Membership/Agency Employee)

As a Post Representative for HECFAA, you'll serve as a key ambassador for our 100% volunteer-driven nonprofit, promoting our mission and engaging with the community. Your role involves advocating for HECFAA, building relationships in your post, and supporting our events and outreach efforts. You'll help raise awareness of our programs, facilitate networking opportunities, and provide valuable feedback to enhance our impact. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, a passion for our mission, and a proactive approach to community engagement.
